Working Together

A few notes on shared care, boundaries, and what to expect.

I hold space with deep respect for your time, your body, your process, and the transformations that unfold when we feel safe, seen, and supported. Below are a few guiding policies and values that help create a clear and intentional container for our work together.

Payment

Payment is due at the conclusion of your session.
I accept Venmo, Zelle, or cash at this time.

Cancellation & Time Policy

Please offer at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged the full session fee.

Sessions begin and end at their scheduled times and cannot be extended to accommodate late arrivals. For in-home sessions, please allow about 10 minutes for setup. Delayed starts may shorten your session or, if I am able to stay longer, will be billed accordingly.

Please note:
If you’ve booked a 90-minute session, it will be held and billed as such—even if you decide the day of that you’d prefer a shorter treatment. This allows me to honor the energy, planning, and pacing I’ve prepared for you.
If you’re unsure what length of session is right for you, feel free to reach out in advance.

Health & Illness Policy

Bodywork is not appropriate if you are experiencing symptoms of illness.

Please reschedule your appointment if you have a fever, flu, cold, or any symptoms of COVID-19.
If illness arises within the 24-hour cancellation window, the fee will be waived—your health and the health of our community come first.

Scope of Practice

My work is not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, or physical therapy.
I do not diagnose or treat specific conditions, but I am happy to work in tandem with your existing care team to support your well-being.

Touch & Consent

You are always welcome to speak up.
Whether to shift pressure, adjust position, or pause altogether. This is your space.
I practice trauma-informed, consent-based bodywork, and I honor your autonomy in every moment of the session.

Energetic Sensitivity & Aftercare

Sometimes sessions stir emotion, stillness, fatigue, or insight.
I encourage you to give yourself time after your session to rest, integrate, or reflect. Drink water, avoid overstimulation, and tune into what your body may need as you re-enter the world.

Boundaries Around Communication

I welcome brief follow-ups and logistics via text.
If you’re seeking deeper integration, emotional processing, or extended support, I invite you to book another session so we can hold it in a more spacious container.

Studio Location

Sessions are held in a quiet studio in Atwater Village, Los Angeles.
The address and arrival details will be shared once your session is confirmed.

Inclusivity & Ethics

I welcome people of all genders, bodies, backgrounds, and beliefs.
This practice is rooted in mutual respect, safety, and the shared understanding that healing is not one-size-fits-all.

I uphold the ABMP Code of Ethics, which includes commitments to:

  • Do no harm

  • Maintain confidentiality and client dignity

  • Work within my scope of practice

  • Uphold professional boundaries

  • Support consent, inclusivity, and informed care

You can read the full code here.

A Final Note

This work is sacred to me. I hold each session with care, and I thank you for honoring the shared space we create together.

If you have questions, curiosities, or special needs—please don’t hesitate to reach out.
